Where are your socks made?
All our socks are made in Britain by skilled craftspeople in traditional mills. We work with family-run manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and ethical production.
Our fibres are sourced responsibly from around the world - alpaca from Peru, merino from ethical farms, and cashmere from sustainable sources.
What's the difference between your fibre types?
- Alpaca: Exceptionally warm, hypoallergenic, and moisture-wicking. Perfect for cold weather and sensitive skin.
- Merino: Naturally temperature-regulating and breathable. Great for active wear and year-round comfort.
- Mohair: Extremely durable with a beautiful lustre. Ideal for everyday wear that lasts.
- Cashmere: The ultimate in luxury and softness. For those who want pure indulgence.
Care & Washing
Are your socks machine washable?
Most of our socks can be machine washed, but care varies by fibre type:
- Merino & Mohair: Machine wash on gentle/wool cycle at 30°C
- Alpaca & Cashmere: We recommend hand washing for best results
Important tips:
- Always dry flat - never tumble dry
- Turn inside out before washing
- Use a mesh laundry bag for extra protection
- Wash dark colours separately
How do I store my natural fibre socks?
Store your socks in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, consider using cedar balls or lavender sachets to deter moths naturally.
Fold rather than roll your socks to maintain their shape, and ensure they're completely dry before storing.

What size should I order?
Our socks come in UK sizes. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. Check the size guide on each product page for specific measurements.
Can I wear alpaca socks all year round?
Yes! Alpaca fibre is naturally temperature-regulating. The hollow fibres provide insulation in cold weather but also breathe well in milder temperatures. Many of our customers wear alpaca socks throughout the year.

Do you offer returns?
Yes! If you're not completely satisfied, you can return unworn socks within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund.
