Our Packaging
Packaging is a necessary evil. We need it to get your socks to you safely, but we don't want it hanging around any longer than it has to. So over time we've stripped ours right back — no single-use plastic anywhere, just biodegradable, recycled and recyclable materials.
Here's exactly what's in the parcel, and why
Swing Tags
Just one small card, made from recycled paper, on every pair. It's attached with natural fibre string rather than the little plastic kimbles most sock brands still use.
Garment Bags
Each pair is wrapped in a corn-starch garment bag. It contains no plastic at all, is home-compostable, and breaks down completely in around three months.
Mailing Bags
Your order is sent out in a fully compostable mailer bag, not a poly mailer or a box. It's just as strong and weatherproof as standard mailers, but once you're finished with it, it can go straight into your compost rather than landfill.
Tape
We seal every mailer with paper tape and a water-soluble glue instead of ordinary plastic parcel tape. It's biodegradable and recyclable, and holds just as securely in transit.
