Two Alpaca, One Mohair — Our Best Boot Socks in a 3-Pair Bundle

A mixed-fibre bundle built around our two best-selling boot socks. You get two pairs of The Murray, our calf-length alpaca walking sock, plus one pair of The Holkham in old gold, our No.1 mohair hiking sock.

Both are knitted in the UK with a cushioned sole and a ribbed leg. Alpaca brings warmth and softness; mohair wicks moisture hard, so those pairs can be worn more than once between washes. Together they cover everything from a long day on the hills to dog-walking and gardening.

How to measure your foot

Stand on a piece of paper (in the socks or bare feet you'd normally wear) with your heel against a wall.
Mark the wall at your heel and the floor at the tip of your longest toe.
Measure the distance between the two marks in centimetres.
Repeat for your other foot and use the larger measurement.
Match your measurement to the size table below rather than your usual shoe size, as shoe sizing varies by brand.

Getting the fit right for how you'll wear them

Boot, hiking and walking socks should fit snugly with no excess fabric — a loose sock inside a boot is one of the fastest routes to blisters on longer walks. If you're between sizes, size down for these styles.

Bed and lounge socks are cut a little looser and softer since they're not doing any work against a shoe — if you're between sizes, size up for these styles for extra cosy comfort.

Our socks are crafted from the finest natural fibres — including Alpaca, Merino, Mohair and Cashmere wool — chosen for their exceptional softness, warmth and durability. A small amount of polyamide (PA) is blended in for elasticity.

Alpaca and Cashmere styles should be hand washed in cool water; Mohair styles can be machine washed on a wool or delicate cycle at 30°C. Avoid fabric conditioner, bleach and tumble drying — always dry flat.

Our socks are ethically sourced and thoughtfully made, using premium natural fibres including Alpaca, Merino, Mohair and Cashmere wool. Discover more about where our fibres come from on our Our Fibres page.

We dispatch orders within 2 working days. UK standard delivery is £4.50 via Royal Mail Tracked 48, or £5.80 for Royal Mail Tracked 24.
